Eldrive & AMPECO Partner to Boost EV Charging in Eastern Europe

Eldrive, a leading electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure provider, has partnered with AMPECO for its charging management platform. The collaboration, backed by a €15m investment from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, promises to enhance EV charging experiences for drivers in Eastern Europe and the Baltics.

Stefan Spassov, CEO of Eldrive, expressed excitement about the partnership, citing AMPECO's platform as crucial for Eldrive's growth plans. The platform offers the scalability and reliability needed to support Eldrive's expansion across Bulgaria, Romania, and Lithuania.

Through this cooperation, Eldrive will strategically equip cities like Sofia, Bucharest, and Vilnius with charging stations. The company plans to deploy these stations along highways, major roads, urban centers, tourist destinations, and retail & entertainment venues. This strategic deployment aims to cater to both en-route and destination charging needs of EV drivers.

Spassov highlighted the significance of this collaboration for network development and delivering a superior charging experience. Eldrive expects improved management, monitoring, and scalability of its charging stations through this partnership.

With AMPECO's platform and the €15m investment, Eldrive is set to expand its operations and enhance EV charging experiences across Eastern Europe and the Baltics. The partnership promises improved management, scalability, and a more comprehensive charging network to cater to the growing needs of EV drivers in the region.
