Differences in Capabilities Between iPhone 7 and iPhone 6
Apple Unveils iPhone 7 and New Apple Watch, Embracing the Future
In a grand unveiling event, Apple CEO Tim Cook presented the latest additions to the tech giant's lineup: the iPhone 7 and a new Apple Watch.
The iPhone 7, without a 3.5mm headphone jack, is now compatible with wireless headphones called AirPods. These earphones, developed and marketed by Apple, will set you back an additional 179 euros. Wired headphones can still be used, but they require an adapter at the charging port.
The new iPhone 7 boasts a significantly improved camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels. The smaller iPhone 7 variant also benefits from an optical image stabilizer, while the iPhone 7 Plus model showcases a dual-camera system for depth-of-field effects.
The new devices are water-resistant, capable of brief submersion without damage, but they are not designed for diving.
In terms of battery life, the iPhone 7 is expected to last 14 hours.
The iPhone 7 will be available for order from September 9th. The standard model will cost between 759 and 980 euros, while the Plus variant will retail between 799 and 1119 euros. Both versions come with 32, 128, or 256 gigabytes of storage.
Tim Cook was seen enjoying a one-handed game of Super Mario on the iPhone 7, hinting at a one-handed playable version of the classic game by the end of the year.
The new Apple Watch will be a topic for a future article, as Apple did not reveal many details about it during the event.
The iPhone 7 is the first smartwatch to play Pokémon Go, a significant step forward in the integration of popular games with wearable technology.
The new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will hit the market soon, ready to revolutionise the way we use technology in our daily lives. Stay tuned for more updates on these exciting new products!
