TAG's Realtime Media Platform Shines at IBC2025

At this year's International Broadcasting Convention (IBC2025), TAG Video Systems made a significant impact with the unveiling of several new features and enhancements in their Realtime Media Platform. The goal is to empower media companies to reduce complexity, accelerate decision-making, and ensure exceptional video quality.

Kevin Joyce, TAG's Zero Friction Officer, emphasised the company's commitment to delivering clarity, control, and the agility customers need to stay competitive. The new features are designed to promote simplicity, increase responsiveness, and ensure exceptional video quality at scale.

One of the key improvements is the enhancement of QC (Quality Control) tools. These include Waveform scopes and HDR test patterns, which help engineers validate signal integrity and troubleshoot issues like latency, HDR validation, audio problems, and error detection more efficiently.

Another significant advancement is the intuitive Operator Console. It provides flexible layout and tile control, allowing teams to switch layouts, interact with sources, and monitor signals in real-time across large wall monitors. This enables faster decision-making and easier problem resolution.

TAG's Realtime Media Platform also boasts built-in real-time integrations with strategic technology partners like Witbe, Nevion, Techex, and DataMiner. These integrations increase responsiveness and simplify complex IP workflow monitoring and management.

The platform's integrated QC Station and Operator Console capabilities have been expanded to support consistent video quality at scale across live and on-demand workflows while reducing operational complexity.

Visitors to TAG's booth 1.C31 at IBC can experience these enhancements firsthand. The interactive demo pods showcase real-world scenarios, including latency and HDR validation, audio issues, and error detection. Channel Solo and full video playback in the Operator Console give operators more hands-on control, enabling them to isolate and listen to a single audio channel and play back full video streams for immediate review.

TAG's focus at IBC is to show what happens when monitoring and data come together in real time. The company's stand is designed to put customer outcomes at the forefront of the demonstration.

TAG's Realtime Media Platform supports any format or infrastructure and delivers actionable data across every screen. It adapts in real time to meet the needs of media operations, making it an invaluable tool in the fast-changing media industry.

With these advancements, TAG continues to invest in the tools and flexibility media companies need to succeed in a fast-changing environment. TAG's Realtime Media Platform offers media companies control over operations, reducing complexity, accelerating decision-making, and ensuring high video quality at scale.
