Pikmin Bloom's 3rd Anniversary Celebration: A Blend of Excitement and Rewards
The Pikmin Bloom mobile app celebrated its 3rd anniversary from November 1 to November 30, 2024, with a series of events that offered a unique blend of excitement and rewards for players.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the introduction of the 3rd Anniversary Cupcake Special Decor Pikmin. These special Pikmin were particularly strong in mushroom battles during the event, especially against Brilliant Mushrooms.
The event also ran alongside the 3rd Anniversary Community Week from November 25, 2024.
During the celebration, the event currency was designed as Whipped Cream, and the event mushrooms were called Brilliant Mushrooms. Defeating Brilliant Mushrooms granted Mystery Boxes which contained rewards.
Players could engage in various missions, such as planting flowers, defeating special mushrooms, inviting friends, and collecting seedlings. These seedlings would grow into exclusive decor Pikmin as rewards.
Between November 1-14, 2024, Gold Seedlings from missions and Mystery Boxes grew into First Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin. From November 15-24, 2024, Gold Seedlings grew into Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin.
Special items available in the shop included Special Mission Tickets, Clematis and Chrysanthemum Flower Packs, an Event Gift Pack, new Mii parts, and an Event Premium Pass.
When the Big Flower at the center of the stage blooms, a Gold Seedling is guaranteed. During the events, Brilliant Mushrooms may be encountered, and destroying them provides Mystery Boxes containing items like Whipped Cream, flower petals, and seedlings for throwback Decor Pikmin.
For every cleared Event Challenge mission, rewards can be obtained at random, including Whipped Cream, seedlings, flower petals, or other items. During the events, you can also receive additional seedlings for First Anniversary Snack or Puzzle: Fall Memories 2021 Decor Pikmin from Mystery Boxes.
In-game purchases were available, but the game is free to start. Persistent Internet and a compatible smartphone are required. The event for First Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin ran from November 1 at 12:00 a.m. to November 14 at 11:59 p.m. local time, while the event for Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin ran from November 15 at 12:00 a.m. to November 24 at 11:59 p.m. local time.
This event encouraged players to engage in various activities, offering a fun and engaging way to celebrate the app's anniversary. Community engagement and special shop items were also part of the celebration.
The 3rd Anniversary Celebration of Pikmin Bloom coincided with the incorporation of gadgets like smartphones into the event, as the celebration occurred within a Nintendo-created lifestyle. As part of the celebration, exclusive decor Pikmin, such as the First Anniversary Snack Decor Pikmin and the Puzzle: 2021 Fall Memories Decor Pikmin, were offered as rewards for partaking in technology-driven activities.
