Cybersecurity firm ARIA clinches another extended deal to safeguard South African cell tower infrastructures over a prolonged period.

Cybersecurity firm ARIA secures another long-term agreement to safeguard cell tower installations across South Africa.

CSP, Inc.'s subsidiary, ARIA Cybersecurity, has secured a new contract to deploy its flagship solution, AZT PROTECT, in South Africa. This move comes as Oryx Industries promotes AZT PROTECT to various customer verticals, including cell tower operators.

AZT PROTECT, a renowned solution for securing critical infrastructure, has demonstrated strong effectiveness in safeguarding cell tower sites from cyber threats. This is evident in an expanded multi-year contract with a South African mobile tower customer. While details on physical threat protection at cell towers in South Africa are not explicitly detailed, AZT PROTECT is known for its dual-protection capability, securing industrial and critical sites from cyberattacks and unintended system disruptions.

The solution employs patented reactive AI-based countermeasures that stop attacks at the point of impact on critical production control systems, safeguarding applications from unsolicited updates and sophisticated cyber threats, including nation-state attack techniques. This makes AZT PROTECT an ideal choice for protecting cell tower visual monitoring systems and energy monitoring equipment within all tower facilities.

The contract is facilitated through a reseller partnership with Oryx Industries. ARIA Cybersecurity's solutions, including AZT PROTECT and the ARIA ADR solution, help accelerate incident response, automate breach detection, and protect critical assets and applications. These countermeasures lock down critical applications from adulteration and stop code-based attacks, such as malware and ransomware, from executing.

ARIA Cybersecurity recognizes the need for a smarter approach to cybersecurity for more effective protection. The company's solutions can be used regardless of where assets are stored, used, or accessed. Customers in various industries rely on ARIA Cybersecurity solutions, with this latest contract further cementing their confidence in AZT PROTECT's security capabilities for telecom infrastructure.

For media inquiries, please contact Gary Southwell at [email protected]. ARIA Cybersecurity is a business of CSPi Inc., a NASDAQ-listed company (CSPI). AZT PROTECT's real-world effectiveness in high-stakes settings, such as large industrial environments, underscores its ability to intercept and prevent potentially catastrophic operational disruptions. With AZT PROTECT, cell tower operators in South Africa can rest assured that their infrastructure is protected against cyber threats, likely supporting defense against related physical threats as part of the overall security posture.
