Cheil Worldwide Sweeps MAD STARS 2025, Wins 'Network of the Year'
Cheil Worldwide, a global advertising agency, has made waves at the MAD STARS 2025 festival, securing an impressive 53 awards across its offices in Korea, Spain, and Greater China. The agency also scooped the prestigious 'Network of the Year' title.
Cheil Worldwide's innovative campaigns were recognised with 1 Grand Prix, 4 Golds, 7 Silvers, 12 Bronzes, and 29 Crystals at MAD STARS 2025. Notably, Cheil Spain's 'Impulse' campaign for Samsung won the Grand Prix in Design. Meanwhile, Cheil Hong Kong's 'Safe Sketch' campaign for Save the Children took home a Gold in Direct and five Bronzes.
Cheil Spain's 'The Mind Guardian' campaign, an AI-powered video game created with Samsung to detect early signs of Alzheimer's, was another standout winner. Additionally, Cheil Spain's 'The Art of Hack' campaign for Samsung won a Gold in Commerce. Cheil Korea's 'Whopper Tattoo' campaign for Burger King and 'Victory Selfie Shared #withGalaxy' for Samsung at Paris 2024 were also notable winners.
John Jonghyun Kim, Global President and CEO of Cheil, delivered a keynote address titled 'The Ambidextrous Agency: Harmonizing AI and Human Creativity' at MAD STARS 2025. The agency's success reflects its commitment to pushing creative boundaries and embracing technology.
