Check Out Vinfast VF6 Variants: Exclusive Features Breakdown
The Vietnamese automaker, Vinfast, has entered the Indian market with its new electric vehicle, the VF6. This compact SUV offers three variants - Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity - each with unique features that cater to different preferences.
Exteriors and Design
The VF6 Earth boasts an attractive exterior design with auto LED projector headlamps, sleek daytime running lights (DRLs), LED tail-lamps, a shark-fin antenna, and 17-inch silver alloys. The Wind variant takes it a step further with 18-inch machine-finished wheels and roof rails, while the Wind Infinity variant features a panoramic glass roof.
Interiors and Comfort
The interior of the VF6 Earth follows an all-black theme with fabric upholstery. The driver's seat offers eight-way power adjustment. The Wind variant, however, switches to a dual-tone black and brown finish with leatherette upholstery. The front seats in the Wind variant are also ventilated for added comfort.
All variants come equipped with a leather-wrapped flat-bottom steering wheel, a six-way power-adjustable driver's seat, and an automatic, single-zone air-conditioning system with rear vents and a cabin filter. The Wind variant offers dual-zone climate control with a PM1.0 filter and an in-built air purifier.
Technology and Safety
The VF6 Earth's tech features include a 12.9-inch touchscreen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a six-speaker sound system. The Wind variant's audio system is upgraded to eight speakers, and it also includes Level-2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), featuring adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, rear cross-traffic alert, and forward collision warning. The Wind variant also includes a heads-up display.
Pricing and Availability
The VF6 is priced at ₹16.49 lakh in India for 2022. The Wind variant is priced at ₹17.79 lakh, and the Wind Infinity variant is priced at ₹18.29 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The Wind variant's exterior ORVMs have heating functions, adding to its comfort and convenience.
The VF6 features a front-wheel-drive motor setup and boasts a claimed range of approximately 463 km to 468 km on the ARAI cycle. With its stylish design, comfortable interiors, advanced technology, and competitive pricing, the Vinfast VF6 is set to make a mark in the Indian electric vehicle market.
