Earbuds and Power Bank Combined: Anker's Soundcore P41i Offers an Impressive Charging Case and 192-hour Battery Life

The charging case is often an overlooked aspect of new earbuds, but Anker's latest offering, the Soundcore P41i, might seem like an upgrade worth considering solely for its case, making it a standout power bank.

Equipped with a status screen and a substantial 3,000 mAh battery, the new case can extend the life of your earbuds for up to a week or partially charge a smartphone, significantly outrunning the Apple AirPods Pro 2's 525 mAh charging case.

The case is fitted with a built-in USB-C cable that doubles as a wrist strap, accompanied by a lightning adapter for older iPhone models. According to Anker, the case can charge a drained iPhone 16 Pro to approximately 50% or a Samsung Galaxy S24 to 45%. Despite a charging speed of 10W, it is essential to note that it won't deliver a rapid charge.

Additionally, the case can act as a phone stand.

Offering up to 12 hours of playtime on a single charge with ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) off, the Soundcore P41i earbuds are boosted by the charging case to an impressive 192 hours—nearly a week's worth of continuous use. With careful management, this extended battery life could potentially yield around a month of use before the need to recharge the case.

Quality Audio Performance with Advanced Technologies

The Soundcore P41i earbuds are equipped with adaptive ANC, achieved via six microphones, adjustable via the Soundcore app. They also come with 11mm composite drivers whose audio is "enhanced" using Anker's BassUp technology. These earbuds boast Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, multi-point, and fast pairing.

The earbuds' IPX5 water resistance means they can withstand minor exposure to water, although they should not be submerged.

Though details on the sound quality are sparse, the attractions of the Soundcore P41i earbuds appear to lie in the power bank charging case and super-long battery life, rather than astonishing audio performance.

Available for purchase in the UK for £89.99 (approximately $100), the Soundcore P41i earbuds are expected to see a global release soon. The previous earbuds in the P4 line were marketed in the US.

The Soundcore P41i earbuds are not just notable for their impressive battery life, but also for their built-in power bank that can partially charge smartphones, such as the iPhone 16 Pro or Samsung Galaxy S24. Moreover, the earbuds themselves, equipped with adaptive ANC and BassUp technology, are enhanced with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, promising quality audio performance along with advanced technologies.
