This premier global financial forum, organized by the Dubai Financial Market (DFM), aims to foster collaboration among global financial leaders, policymakers, investors, and innovators.

The summit's goal is to enhance the growth and resilience of capital markets while deepening regional and international investment ties. It aligns with Dubai's broader vision of becoming one of the world's top four financial centers.

Hamed Ali, the CEO of DFM and Nasdaq Dubai, emphasized the significance of the MENA Capital Market Summit, stating that it will shape the future of capital markets. Similarly, H.H. Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, First Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Finance, highlighted the summit's importance.

The event is expected to attract 1,500 businesses and key decision-makers. DFM's investor base now consists of 1.2 million investors from over 200 nationalities.

During the summit, DFM announced two AI-powered features for the iVestor app—Smart Disclosures and Financial Summary—to enhance investor access to clear and concise company information, supporting informed investment decisions. These innovations are part of ongoing efforts to deepen market infrastructure and broaden capital access via platforms like Arena, aiming to diversify investment opportunities across various asset classes and strengthen market depth.

The MENA Capital Market Summit is supported by leading financial institutions such as Bank of America, Citi Group, Emirates NBD, and HSBC. The event will serve as a key platform for industry leaders to share insights on market innovation, regulatory shifts, and investment trends.

In 2024, AED 10.48 billion was raised through IPOs in Dubai, demonstrating the region's growing importance in the global capital markets landscape. The summit will explore critical topics including AI and technology's impact on capital markets, IPO trends, cross-border capital flows, and the evolution of private markets.
