Bentley's Upcoming Electric Vehicle Showcased in EXP 15 Concept Reveal

Bentley Motors has unveiled the EXP 15 design concept, a bold and unconventional all-electric model set to revolutionise luxury grand touring as we know it. Scheduled for an official reveal in 2026, the EXP 15 offers a glimpse into Bentley's vision for a sustainable and innovative future.

The EXP 15 boasts an asymmetrical three-door configuration, with a single door on the driver’s side and twin coach-style doors on the passenger side that incorporate sections of the roof for easier access. The model's exterior is described as "cut from a single block of stone," emphasising a muscular, sculptured design that is both modern and reminiscent of Bentley's heritage.

Inside, the EXP 15 breaks convention with a three-seat layout in a 1+2 configuration. The passenger-side rear seat swivels and slides between three positions—standard rear-facing, reclined “Relax” mode, and forward “Co-pilot” positioning. The rear cargo area can transform into a tailgate party setup with deployable leather-upholstered seats, integrated lighting, and a refrigerated compartment sliding out from the center console.

The EXP 15 is an all-electric, all-wheel-drive vehicle that promises to deliver performance and luxury without compromising on sustainability. Although the concept itself is not the exact production model, it provides strong cues to Bentley’s first full-production electric vehicle slated for 2026.

The exterior boasts a distinctive Pallas Gold liquid metal finish with radar-transparent aluminum pigments, underscoring Bentley’s commitment to innovative luxury materials aligned with carbon-neutral goals. The front fascia showcases a digital LED grille with illuminated diamond-pattern mesh and a modern interpretation of the classic Winged B emblem that floats above the hood, signaling Bentley’s new electric identity.

The EXP 15 exemplifies Bentley’s focus on integrating advanced technology and craftsmanship. Features include a digital LED grille that doubles as modern art, intricate lighting designs that echo Bentley’s heritage motifs in a digital form, and smart interior configurations aimed at enhancing passenger comfort and usability, such as pet storage compartments and versatile seating arrangements.

The design of the EXP 15 does not resemble the sometimes awkward proportions of the Toyota Crown, the old steam-engine lines of a Rolls-Royce Cullinan, or the conventional box shape of traditional sedans. Instead, it presents a unique and unconventional design that defies convention while maintaining a sense of elegance and sophistication.

It is important to note that some exterior details of the EXP 15 design concept are subject to change, and the luggage-like interior treatment mentioned in the concept is not part of the expected production model. Nevertheless, the EXP 15 serves as a radical design vision pointing to Bentley’s first all-electric production grand tourer expected in 2026, featuring innovative door configurations, a distinctive three-seat interior, advanced digital and luxury materials, and an all-electric powertrain that honours Bentley’s heritage while paving a path to sustainable luxury.

The EXP 15, Bentley's all-electric grand touring concept, combines a unique lifestyle with modern technology, as evident from its digital LED grille and innovative door configurations. In the future, this design philosophy may also extend to Bentley's electric-vehicle lineup, revolutionizing both performance and sustainability in luxury cars.
