In the picture we can see three boys standing near the desk on it, we can see two computer systems towards them and one boy is talking into the microphone and they are in ID cards with red tags to it and behind them we can see a wall with an advertisement board and written on it as Russia imagine 2013.

The 'together digital' initiative in Bamberg is seeking more volunteers to maintain its success. Some volunteers have left, creating a need for fresh support at the local volunteering Digital Help Desk.

The Help Desk, open Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 2 to 5 pm at Stadt:Raum, offers free assistance with digital devices. Since March 2025, over 80 consultations have taken place, demonstrating its popularity. No appointment is needed.

Volunteering just two to three hours a week can cover half a shift. Coordinator Simal Sarilar welcomes those interested in joining the local volunteering team. No expert knowledge is required; a solid understanding of common applications and functions is sufficient. The initiative is part of the 'together digital' project, funded by the Bavarian State Ministry of Digital Affairs and coordinated by the Office for Inclusion and the Smart City program of the City of Bamberg.

The 'together digital' initiative needs more local volunteering to meet the high demand for digital support. With no expert knowledge required, volunteering a few hours a week can make a significant difference. Those interested can contact coordinator Simal Sarilar.
