The Nothing Phone 3, the latest offering from the tech brand, is now available for preorder globally, marking its debut in the U.S. market. The device boasts a premium triple 50MP camera system, a bright and sharp AMOLED display, a large battery with fast charging options, and the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC.

The Phone 3 sports a triple rear camera setup, all featuring 50MP sensors. The main camera uses a 1/1.3-inch sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), the ultra-wide camera has a 114-degree field of view, and the telephoto camera offers 3x optical zoom through a periscope lens, also stabilized by OIS. The front-facing camera is also a 50MP sensor with an f/2.2 lens.

The device features a 6.67-inch AMOLED (OLED) display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels (1.5K), 10-bit color depth, and an impressive peak brightness of 4500 nits (with typical outdoor brightness around 1600 nits). The display supports an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate, making it the brightest and sharpest screen Nothing has shipped so far.

Powering the Phone 3 is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, ensuring excellent processing power and energy efficiency. The device comes in two configurations: a base model with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, and a higher-end model with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The Phone 3 includes a 5500mAh battery (5,150mAh in other regions), supporting 65W wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging, along with 5W reverse wireless charging. The battery life can reportedly last up to 80 hours of usage, and fast charging can fully power the phone in under an hour with the right adapter.

The Phone 3 retains the brand’s signature transparent design and includes an upgraded Glyph Matrix—an LED system on the back for notifications and interaction. The device also features a battery indicator, stopwatch, mirror, digital clock, solar clock, and bespoke games.

The Phone 3 runs Nothing OS 3.5, which is based on Android 15. Nothing has committed to providing 5 years of major Android updates and 7 years of security updates. Android 16 and Nothing OS 4.0 are scheduled for release in Q3 2025. The software integrates AI-powered features such as Essential Search, Essential Space, and Flip To Record, enhancing user experience.
