At this year's Transport Logistic trade fair in Munich, Axxès, a French toll specialist, is showcasing a new generation of electronic toll solutions. The highlight of Axxès' presentation is "Lucy", a digital hub that unites all Axxès services, offering a central platform for logistics companies, transport companies, and toll operators.
One of the key features of Lucy is the new On-Board-Unit (OBU) from Axxès, which uses 4G technology for stable, fast, and secure data transmission. This upgrade is particularly significant as it prepares for the upcoming shutdown of the 2G mobile network, a transition that companies like Axxès might focus on to ensure continuous functionality without relying on obsolete infrastructure.
