Arrival of Tesla's Cybertruck Model in Lisbon
In a groundbreaking event held on October 10th, Tesla showcased its vision for the future of transportation at the We, Robot event in both Los Angeles and Lisbon. The event, which focused on the benefits of autonomy in transportation, marked the unveiling of several new products by the electric vehicle giant, including the Tesla Cybercab, Robovan, and Optimus.
The Tesla Cybercab, initially presented in Lisbon and later exhibited in Paris, Berlin, and Austin, is set to revolutionise the taxi industry. After its limited launch in Austin, Texas, in June 2025, volume production is expected to begin in 2026, making the Cybercab more widely available to the public starting next year.
Tesla believes that autonomy is the key to achieving a sustainable future in transportation. By reducing energy consumption, improving traffic flow, minimizing human error, and lowering operating costs, autonomous vehicles can make transportation more efficient, accessible, and safe.
The Cybercab was on display in Lisbon from July 9th to July 12th at the Tesla Center Lisboa - Belas. Following its exhibition in Lisbon, the Cybercab was showcased together with the Robovan and Optimus at the We, Robot event in Los Angeles.
The Robovan and Optimus, while not as publicly visible as the Cybercab, are also part of Tesla's vision for the future of transportation. The Robovan, a robotic vehicle designed for commercial use, and Optimus, a humanoid robot, represent Tesla's commitment to pushing the boundaries of innovation in the transportation industry.
Tesla's reveal of these new products at the We, Robot event underscores the company's belief that autonomy is not just a future possibility, but a present reality that can significantly impact the way we travel. As we move towards a more autonomous future, Tesla is at the forefront, leading the charge towards a sustainable, efficient, and safe transportation system.
