Anticipated Debut of Samsung Galaxy S25 FE: Projected Features and Estimated Costs
The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is set to make its debut later this month or early September, according to Samsung's announcement. This is earlier than its predecessor, the Galaxy S24 FE, which was launched in late September 2024 and went on sale in October.
The new device is expected to feature a 6.7-inch flexible OLED (LTPO AMOLED) display, an Exynos 2400 chipset, and a new 12-megapixel front camera. The handset is rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 50MP primary shooter, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 12MP ultrawide sensor.
The Galaxy S25 FE is designed to be thinner and lighter, and it will come in four color options: Icy Blue, Navy, Jet Black, and White. The battery capacity is expected to be between 4,500 and 4,900 mAh, with support for 45W fast charging.
In terms of storage, the device is expected to be paired with 8GB of RAM and offer up to 512GB of onboard storage. The Galaxy S25 FE is also rumored to run on Android 16-based One UI 8 out of the box.
As for the price, it is expected to be under approximately $719 (under 1 million KRW), which is similar to or not much higher than its predecessor despite supply chain challenges. The phone is set to be released on September 19, 2025, initially in South Korea, with launches in other countries likely around the same time; the U.S. release might be slightly later.
Samsung has also announced plans for other launches in 2025, including the first tri-fold phone, an XR headset (Project Moohan), premium Tab S11 tablets, and affordable Galaxy A-series phones. The Galaxy S25 FE is part of Samsung’s 2025 flagship lineup offering flagship-grade hardware with a lower price point to maintain sales momentum.
