Anticipated Debut of Apple's Spectacular Event: iPhone 17, AirPods Pro 3, Apple Watch 11 - Apple is set to unveil the iPhone 17 Air, a phone three times slimmer than its predecessors, on Tuesday.

Apple is set to reveal its highly anticipated new products at its annual launch event on Tuesday, September 9 at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. The event, dubbed the 'Awe Dropping' iPhone 17 event, will be streamed on Apple's website, Apple TV app, and YouTube.

Among the products expected to be unveiled are the next generation of iPhones, Apple Watches, and AirPods. Four new iPhone 17 models are anticipated: the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Air, and iPhone 17 Pro Max.

The iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are expected to boast improved cameras and enhanced battery life, while the iPhone 17 Air will replace the Plus model and will be noticeably thinner than previous models. A new addition to the lineup is the Ultra 3 model, which will feature satellite connectivity.

Last year, the iPhone 16 was released at a price point of $799 for its base model and $1,199 for the higher-tier iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, the price of the new iPhone 17 remains unknown.

Apple is also expected to refresh its Apple Watch line, introducing new models like the Apple Watch Series 11 and the Ultra 3. The Apple Watch Series 11 will feature a brighter screen, and rumours suggest that Apple may add a heart rate monitor to its AirPods Pro earbuds.

In other news, Apple announced a new translucent design element called Liquid Glass at its Worldwide Developers Conference in June. This feature is expected to roll out this fall with Apple's new iOS 26 operating system and will be incorporated into the iPhone via translucent menus and a new lock screen with Liquid Glass time.

It's worth noting that Apple has shifted some of its U.S. iPhone production to India to lessen its dependence on China. The company's CEO, Tim Cook, participated in the company's major launch event on September 9, 2022.

Lastly, Apple is working on its first foldable phone, but it will not be introduced this year. The foldable iPhone is expected to debut in the fall of 2026.
