Anti-Drone Agreement Worth AUD 20 Million Signed Between DZYNE HIFraser and Dronebuster in 2025
Headline: DZYNE Technologies Secures Contract to Strengthen Australia's Counter-Drone Capabilities
The Australian Defence Force (ADF) has taken a significant step forward in enhancing its counter-uncrewed aerial systems (C-UAS) capabilities, with the announcement of a multi-million-dollar contract awarded to DZYNE Technologies.
The contract, which falls under the ADF's LAND 156 Phase 1 program, is a collaborative effort with HIFraser, a leading Australian defense supplier. The partnership aims to deliver a scalable, layered, and integrated C-UAS solution to safeguard deployed ADF personnel.
The Hon. Pat Conroy MP, Minister for Defence Industry, formally announced the award, stating that it represents a significant advancement in strengthening Australia's C-UAS capabilities.
At the heart of this contract is the Dronebuster DTIM Kit, a handheld, wearable C-sUAS system. This innovative technology enables dismounted forces to detect, track, identify, and defeat small drone threats in real time.
Key features of the Dronebuster DTIM Kit include omnidirectional detection, multi-mode tracking, AI-powered identification, kinetic-free defeat options, and a ruggedized, field-deployable design. The system has been extensively validated in contested and denied electromagnetic environments, making it a reliable solution for the ADF's layered defense objectives.
George Schwartz, EVP of Products at DZYNE, expressed pride in the partnership with HIFraser, stating, "We are proud to partner with HIFraser and deliver proven capabilities that directly support the ADF's layered defense strategy."
The Dronebuster DTIM Kit can be deployed as a stand-alone solution or integrated into broader layered defense protection architectures. Over 2,500 units of the Dronebuster DTIM Kit have been delivered and are operational, with the system currently fielded by U.S. and allied forces in over 50 countries.
HIFraser has selected DZYNE's Dronebuster DTIM Kit to support agile, mission-ready counter-drone operations at the tactical edge. DZYNE Technologies is committed to delivering cost-disruptive, operator-centric defense technologies that protect warfighters and secure national interests.
With this contract, DZYNE Technologies continues to demonstrate its commitment to supporting the ADF in its mission to safeguard personnel and national security. The Dronebuster DTIM Kit is set to play a crucial role in this effort, providing the ADF with a powerful tool in its fight against small drone threats.
