Agricultural Research and Equipment Exhibition Scheduled for August 7 at University of Wisconsin

On August 7, 2025, the University of Wyoming will be hosting a field day at the James C. Hageman Sustainable Agriculture Research and Extension Center (SAREC) near Lingle, Wyoming. This free event, co-hosted with Eastern Wyoming College (EWC), promises an exciting day of learning, exploration, and networking for all ages[1][4].

The event kicks off at 8:30 AM with registration and refreshments, setting the stage for a day filled with knowledge sharing and hands-on experiences[1]. At 9:30 AM, field tours will commence, offering visitors a glimpse into various agricultural research projects underway across Wyoming[1].

Three EWC interns will share their summer experiences working at SAREC, offering unique insights into the world of agricultural research[3][4]. Local agricultural equipment dealers will conduct in-field demonstrations from 1 to 3 PM, showcasing the latest technology, including advanced irrigation systems and drones equipped with ground-penetrating radar[1].

A highlight of the event will be a guest speaker from ALA Engineering, who will discuss the company's work in self-driving systems and custom vehicles, including autonomous cattle-feeding technology[1].
