Additive Assurance, Addiguru Top Metal 3D Printing Sensor Tech Challenge
Five companies, including Additive Assurance and Addiguru, have been recognized for their innovative sensor technologies in metal 3D printing. The companies presented their findings to an expert panel after installing their sensors on ASTRO America's industrial-scale metal 3D printers.
The Actionable In-Situ Awareness Challenge aimed to identify promising sensors and monitoring capabilities for metal additive manufacturing. Sponsored by ASTRO America, ASTM International’s Additive Manufacturing Center of Excellence (AM CoE), and Florida State University, the challenge attracted several companies, with Additive Assurance and Addiguru emerging as top-ranked.
Addiguru's multi-sensor analytics platform provides real-time insight for manufacturers, allowing them to act immediately on any issues. The company, along with Additive Assurance, demonstrated outstanding technical capabilities and real-world value in metal additive manufacturing monitoring. Both companies received high votes from the panel, with Additive Assurance being the top vote getter.
Additive Assurance and Addiguru have been invited to meet with Stifel's investment team and present their capabilities at ASTM International's ICAM conference in Las Vegas. Their innovative sensor technologies have shown great promise in improving the metal additive manufacturing process, and industry experts are eager to see their progress.
