ACM Launches New AI Security & Privacy Journal, TAISAP
On June 24, 2025, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) launched a new journal, ACM Transactions on AI Security and Privacy (TAISAP). This addition expands ACM's journal portfolio dedicated to artificial intelligence, aiming to foster dialogue and address challenges within the computing field.
TAISAP focuses on securing AI systems and leveraging AI for cybersecurity. Its primary scope includes evaluating the security posture of AI models, AI-enabled systems, and their environments. The journal accepts both theoretical and applied contributions, encouraging multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary submissions. All papers accepted for publication in TAISAP will be open access without charges for the first three years (2026-2029).
The editorial leadership consists of three Co-Editors-in-Chief and 17 Associate Editors from diverse international backgrounds. ACM currently publishes over 70 scholarly peer-reviewed journals, emphasising rapid publication to disseminate new ideas and discoveries.
TAISAP is part of ACM's strategic initiative to expand its journal portfolio dedicated to artificial intelligence. It explores intrinsic security of AI models, privacy considerations, and AI applications in cybersecurity domains. The journal's open access policy ensures wide accessibility to its research, promoting dialogue and collaboration within the AI and cybersecurity communities.
