Accessible Windows 11 Upgrade Available Immediately; Official Release Slated for Next Month

The forthcoming June Patch Tuesday update for Windows 11 brings a plethora of new features, many of which have previously been previewed. Here's an overview of the key additions:

Cross Device Resume

This feature, akin to Apple's Handoff, allows users to smoothly transition between Windows 11 and Android devices by synchronizing apps across platforms. It bridges the gap between the two operating systems, facilitating a seamless user experience.

Click to Do

Microsoft's Click to Do feature has received an enhancement, offering users expanded functionality. The "Ask Copilot" option is now available, enabling users to send selected text directly to Copilot. Additionally, new text actions have been introduced for Copilot+ PCs powered by AMD and Intel.

HDR Options

A new option in Windows 11 allows users to watch select HDR content without requiring HDR to be enabled across the entire PC. This strategically prevents muted colors from appearing when viewing content that isn't compatible with HDR, allowing users to fully leverage HDR monitors for video playback without running into color issues with non-HDR content.

Beyond these enhancements, the update also includes a new Windows Share feature, part of the KB5058499 preview update that was released in May 2025. The update boasts forty-eight new features or changes, with many gradually being rolled out.

These updates form part of Microsoft's commitment to improving user experience and device integration, and they are set to become widely available in the June Patch Tuesday update.
